A neologism for “reckoning” coined by David Salo in his Gateway to Sindarin, based on gonod- “count up, reckon, sum up” (GS/259). I would use attested genediad for “reckoning”, but would retain ᴺS. gonoded with the revised sense “counting, accounting”.
