S. Thorongil pn. “Eagle of the Star”
A name adopted by Aragorn when he travelled secretly within Gondor (LotR/1055) translated “Eagle of the Star” (UTI/Thorongil), a combination of thoron “eagle” (Let/427) and gil “star”.
