ᴺS. !haudha- v. “to lay in store; to hoard, save, record; to bury” (Category: to Hide, Conceal)

ᴺS. !haudha-, v. “to lay in store; to hoard, save, record; to bury” [created by Paul Strack] (Category: to Hide, Conceal)

Elaran proposed the neologism ᴺS. hauda- “to cover up, hide away, lay in store; to hoard, save, record” < √KHAW + in 2018-05-20 on the Vinyë Lambengolmor Discord Server (VLDS), using the 1950s sense “cover up, hide away, lay in store” for this root (PE19/91). I prefer to use the 1930s sense “rest, lie at ease” for √KHAW to preserve “bed” words from this period, and instead suggest ᴺS. haudha- “to lay in store; to hoard, save, record; to bury” based on the extended root √KHAWAD “store, hoard”.
