A correlative combination in Demonstrative, Relative, and Correlative Stems (DRC) from 1948, a combination of ᴹQ. hap- “about the same” and ᴹQ. -ar(yas) “day”, but Tolkien said this word was not used and onaryas was used instead (PE23/100, 109).
