G. gofedhra- v. “to unite in a band” (Category: to Join, Unite)
The verb gofedhra- “to unite in a band” appeared in the Gnomish Lexicon of the 1910s, that was especially used reflexively (GL/40). It was a combination of G. go- “together” and the verb G. fedhra-, apparently of the same meaning (GL/34). The verb fedhra- in turn was related to words like G. fedhrog “one bound by oath” and G. fedhir “bond, convention, agreement”.
