ᴱQ. qinde n. “womanliness, femininity; (concr.) women as a whole” (Category: Female)

⚠️ᴱQ. quindë, n. “womanliness, femininity; (concr.) women as a whole” (Category: Female)
ᴺQ. !inimë “femininity, womanliness”

A noun for “womanliness, femininity” in the Qenya Lexicon of the 1910s with variant qinne, both derived from the root ᴱ√QIMI (QL/31). In the entry, this word was predeceded by the definite article in parenthesis (i) and Tolkien gave it the alternate gloss “(concr.) women as a whole”; by this I assume Tolkien mean qinde by itself meant “femininity”, but with the definite article i qinde meant “women as a whole”.
