A neologism coined by Paul Strack in 2025 specifically for Eldamo for “to weigh, balance [on scales]”, a verb form of lunguntë “scale”. In a post on 2025-12-08 in the Vinyë Lambengolmor Discord Server (VLDS), Parmandil and Vëannë suggested luhta-, a causative verb based on ᴹ√LUG “be heavy” inspired by G. luntha- “to weigh, balance”. Unfortunately, this luhta- conflicts with several other attested verbs of distinctly different meanings, so I prefer a different solution.
